009 Residential Trolly Park

Sounds like a good idea doesn’t it?  If dwellings are quite close to a supermarket then why not have an official parking area for trolleys that are then subsequently collected by the supermarket operator?  This would be better than the informal basis on which trolleys often find themselves parked away from the shops they belong to; because they block pavements, look untidy and aren’t collected for days.  The amount of trolleys in this location near to Oldbury town centre in the West Midlands must be a record number…unless you know better!  It could be just one resident who is collecting and then parking them, or indeed a number of residents.  Alternatively they might be breeding, as suggested by the two photos below which were taken a few months apart.
